Society's Standards.

To those who think they’re so attractive, please don’t put down others who are not pretty enough for society’s standard. Everybody is beautiful. Those 3 words will never become over rated until everybody feels that way.

To those who think they’re not good enough, and fall onto peer pressure just because they want cooler “friends”, ruining the innocence of being yourself is far greater than the self you will begin to question when you get tired of pretending.

To those who act a certain way just to impress a person who wont notice you unless you put on that 90% padding push-up bra with that low-cut v-neck shirt and act like the biggest whore you aren’t, anybody who does not take the time and effort to get to know your actual personality — like you did with them — is not worth the time and effort of changing yourself.

Change to love yourself, because it’s good for you and because it makes you happier and stronger.

The textbooks they make you read in school are very bias.

intrinsic people aren’t good leaders, and extrinsic people are..
Why? Because they’re quiet? The way I look at it extrinsic people are those who like to fake their way through life to get to the top. The only reason intrinsic people may not be good leaders is because they’re smart enough to know it’s not worth it having to go through the unnecessary bullshit people will put you through to get a high paying position which will only cause anxiety and stress. Whatever, only my opinion.

“Aging is not just decay, you know. It’s growth. It’s more than the negative that you’re going to die, it’s also the positive that you understand you’re going to die, and that you live a better life because of it.” —Morrie Schwartz, Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom (via highnotepoet56)

Times

When I can’t fucking speak are the times where I need to be heard the most. My thoughts are in their highest peak but I don’t know where to begin. Meaningful, patient gestures are really all I ask for. My only issue is that I’m always at a loss when it comes to creating a goddamn starting sentence. — don’t give up just yet

But if somebody dares to ask what is wrong, have the nerve to stick in deep silence until the poor being has been completely exhausted by the horrible (but personal) thoughts they choose to share with you.
